This role is based on Long Island and requires in-office most days. Please do not apply if you are NOT able to commute to a LI office. Responsibilities:Work with executive leadership to make critical decisions that impact deadlines, resolve issues quickly, and clarify product-related questions.

Create and oversee detailed timelines for both new and ongoing product development, ensuring all projects remain on schedule.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure everyone is informed of key deadlines and project milestones, using dashboards to track progress and flagging deadlines to responsible team members.Act as the primary point of contact regarding deliverable timelines and deadlines between product development, marketing, operations, finance, and design to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

Collaborate with external vendors to understand order volumes and manufacturing limitations, aligning these with project timelines and requirements.Think creatively about how to adjust timelines nimbly to ensure on-time delivery while balancing the needs of both the internal and external teams.Monitor and manage the distribution of samples to retail partners and maintain internal records for future reference.

Lead the adoption and transition of project management software to improve workflow efficiency and ensure team is trained and brought along for transition.Identify and flag risks to project timelines and quality and work to create mitigation solutions.Gain in-depth knowledge of component lead times and manufacturing constraints to enhance project planning and execution.

Understand costs and the implications on timelines, seeking efficiencies to optimize workflows and helping team to understand cost and benefits of continent plans.Manage internal alignment meetings around product development and ensure tasks are clearly outlined to team.Coordinate purchase ordering with operations and finance.

Qualifications:Experience level: ManagerEducation: Bachelors (required)10+ years of proven experience in consumer products development, operations, and managing multiple product lifecycles from business development to final delivery.Deep familiarity with project management processes, tools, and development, including the ability to create dashboards and visually communicate timelines, milestones, and tasks.Strong understanding of the product development process and the impact of components on design, development, and manufacturing.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, adept at optimizing processes and thinking creatively about contingencies.Excellent communication skills, with a track record of clearly managing tasks and milestones to keep projects on track.Proven ability to influence multiple teams in fast-paced startup environments, including manufacturing, sourcing, creative, marketing, strategy, and product development.
