Integration Developer

We require an Integration Engineer to join a new function for our client within the Data Services area of IT Services. The team will help to establish an API-led approach to integrating our clients complex systems landscape. That approach will provide scalable and secure connectivity and reduce cost significantly through automation, streamlined processes, and reusable integrations.

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Integration Specialist will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of new system integrations, as well as the standardisation of existing integrations.

As a member of the new Integration Services Team, the Senior Systems Integration Specialist will be required to design, develop and implement new systems integrations, based on strategic and architectural principles.

Responsibilities:

- Experience in designing, building and supporting application and data integration platforms, using the latest technologies.

- Significant experience of calling and creating RESTful and SOAP web services/APIs to access and integrate with external and internal systems.

- Experience of working with a wide range of data sets and file formats.

- Ability to develop technical documentation to define and document systems, integration layers, procedures, and processes in a clear, coherent style.

- An understanding of enterprise integration platforms, such as Microsoft, Talend, MuleSoft, WebMethods.
