Data Management Consultant | Outside IR35

SR2 have engaged with a leading consultancy who have just secured a number of new projects with a public sector department. The contract is an initial 6 months, remote and with an extensive pipeline of future work, leading to likely extensions.

The client is a consultancy that spans both the public and the private sector, carrying out, and delivering, key work within these sectors. They have been recognised at prestigious industry events for this work and as such, have accumulated not only awards but a fantastic name in the market.

Key Tasks

• Work with developers to assess the quality of the data entries and make overall suggested improvements to the tool.
• Work closely with the service design team, interacting with the users and capturing their needs and wants around the discovery and utilisation of data. For example, what do the users around the organisation want from the tool?
• Reporting proposals
• Input into the Framework for Data Quality
• Capture metadata
• Analysis and describe datasets being brought in and on-boarded onto the existing Data and Analytics Platform.

Requirements

• Experience with the Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)
• AMAR data experience
• Shape and optimise the data lake structure
• Experience working with metadata.
• Exposure to Azure cloud
• Extensive financial background
• SC Cleared - must be active and in date
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience.

This is an outside IR35 contract, 6 months rolling and with a flexible day rate depending on experiene.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday and Thursday next week (29th & 30th) with a view to start mid-June.
