UI - Angular - React - Cloud - eTrading = Developer - Front Office - Banking

Senior UI Developer/Architect required by large Investment Bank, based in London (Hybrid Home/Office Working) to work within the Bank's Front Office Credit eTrading team.

The team is building the next generation of sales research and eTrading platform. The asset classes covered on the eTrading platform are credit Bonds, single-name CDS and index CDS and we are currently expanding into securitised products such as ABS and MBS.

The development team is based in London, New York and Lisbon. The platform is deployed globally in Europe, Americas and Asia; the London development team liaises with global support teams to ensure the stability and uptime of the platform. The Credit business has identified eTrading as a key area we would like to develop in terms of reliability and functionality hence success in this area is regarded as essential to help the business succeed.

They are looking for a senior Front End lead developer/architect to work on successful and well respected suite of Real Time secondary market applications used by credit sales, trading and management globally.

Candidates wishing to apply must demonstrate advanced knowledge around the skills mentioned below:

• At least 8 years software development experience in an investment bank environment or equivalent
• Exposure to Architecture and a familiarity with different platforms, web technologies
• You are currently hands-on still.
• At least 2-5 years recent experience developing with Typescript, Angular, React and CSS in a Real Time, high throughput scenario
• Strong development skills and experience with C#, WebApi
• Experience working with Front Office users (Traders, Sales), preferably in Credit or Rates
• Excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment and experience working with Jira.
• Strong understanding of test driven development and continuous integration practices (Team City experience beneficial).
• Real Time high throughput application development
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Comfortable interacting with Front Office users.

Functional skills:

• Financial Market domain knowledge
• Investment banking is a strong plus
• Derivatives business is a plus
• Preferable Domain Knowledge any of Rates, FXO and e-trading
