WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This role primarily involves working as a field-based technician, requiring daily travel to one or two schools within the Northamptonshire area. Therefore, a full driving license and reliable personal transportation are essential prerequisites for this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in MS-Windows Server
• Demonstrated experience in installing and configuring new desktops and laptops.
• Comprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems, including Windows 7/10/11, Apple MacOS/iPadOS, and Chrome OS.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare.
• Familiarity with online backup solutions.
• Experience with MS Exchange, Office, and Office 365.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, printing, and networking.
• Hold certification such as CompTIA A+
