What you'll do:
As a Cisco Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the infrastructure that underpins our client's production services. You will be responsible for ensuring solutions within your domain are aligned with controls, standards, policies, procedures, and quality levels. Your role will involve collaborating with domain functional specialists and project managers to deliver infrastructure services. Additionally, you will proactively monitor alerts and logs while troubleshooting and deploying fixes for incidents within set targets.

. Proactively support and maintain infrastructure that underpins production services following IS&T governance, policy, and processes for their domain.
. Support solutions within their domain in line with controls, standards, policies, procedures, and quality levels.
. Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service partners and suppliers.
. Collaborate with domain functional specialists, project managers, and key business SMEs for the delivery of infrastructure services within domain.
. Proactively monitor alerts, queues, logs and take appropriate action including ITSM recording of incidents.
. Troubleshoot and deploy fixes for SR's, incidents, and problems, within SLA/OLA targets and quality standards.

What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Cisco Network Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience in working with Local Area Network technologies. You will have an understanding of advanced network concepts such as SD-WAN and network segmentation. A strong knowledge of Network Security is essential for this role. Previous experience in a complex IT networks role is key to success. Additionally, candidates must have resided within the UK for a minimum of 5 years to successfully complete security clearance.

. Experience working with Local Area Network technologies including switching, routing, Firewalls, wireless etc.
. Understanding of advanced network concepts such as SD-WAN, network segmentation, VLANS.
. Strong knowledge of Network Security.
. Previous experience in a complex IT networks role.
. Residency within the UK for a minimum of 5 years to successfully complete security clearance.
