One of our clients, eu-LISA, based in Strasbourg, FR, we are looking for an Integration Expert for the changes needed on the Physical Security Systems' infrastructure.
They would require a platform and applications designed to integrate multiple unconnected physical security applications and devices and control them through their comprehensive user interfaces.
The goal will be to collect and to correlate events from existing disparate security devices and information systems to empower personnel to identify and proactively resolve situations. The latter may entail also Systems upgrades or developments, storage and compute configuration, systems racking and cabling to onboard the new and the current existing systems. It may equally require the design of physical security instrumentation, the development and the review of physical security systems, as well as defining sub-system functional requirements and component-level specifications and scopes of work.
Furthermore, it shall also address services related to managing the CMDB for the current and the new physical security systems as well as support to coordinate any related installation works.

More specifically, the consultant will support:

• the supervision of the compliance of physical security standards,
• the management of Physical Security Projects meant to integrate new systems, and will also
• serve on cross functional teams related to new facilities' security systems to be integrated into the existing ones.

The consultant success will be measured by how they assist the Protective Security Sector with the development, implementation and commissioning/management of standardized security infrastructure systems for the Agency.

The profile involved should master proficient level in English language, be capable of writing proper and quality documentation (in English) and have the required technical skills.

Nature of tasks

• Interpret integration tasks into detailed plans for execution;
• Support integration testing by developing integration test plans;
• Update the CMDB tool with integration settings to the relevant CIs;
• Create and maintain network security settings, updating policy and procedures.

Knowledge and skills

• Provides technical expertise to enable the configuration of software, other system components and equipment for systems testing;
• Collaborates with technical teams to develop and agree system integration plans and report on progress;
• Defines complex/new integration builds. Ensures that relevant environments in the Test Platform (TPT) are correctly configured;
• Designs, performs and reports results of tests of the integration build. Identifies and documents system integration components for recording in the configuration management system;
• Recommends and implements improvements to processes and tools.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the defined area of expertise.
