Contract: Juniper Network Consultant

Start Date: End October 2024

Project work: 10-15 days then 3-+ days in 2025

Location: Initial work in Antwerp, Belgium then a number of European sites

Rate: €600-700 a day (+ Travel expenses when required)

Experienced Juniper Network Consultant to help deliver short term projects as part of a global network refresh in 2024-2025. Looking for a specialist who can be self-starter and own project from initiation through to completion on each site. Able to oversee the conversion of a site from the first analysis to handover to operations.

Scope:

• Analysis of the existing infrastructure
• Translation of the Cisco configuration to Juniper
• Planning migration
• Staging Switches
• Change preparation
• Implementation of migration
• Testing of all functions after the change
• Hypercare after conversion
• Documentation of the new infrastructure
• Maintenance of all management systems
• Reporting of activities
• Participation in project meetings

Skills required:

• Juniper MIST platform
• Juniper EX Switches (4100, 2300, 4400)
• Juniper MIST Wireless
• Network knowledge at CCNA/CCNP level (Basic Layer 2/3, Static/Dynamic Routing
• Network monitoring and management, troubleshooting etc...)
• Fluent English
• Driving license/mobile
• Willingness to travel
