Full Time Manager,Trading Data Analytics team within Investment Implementation & Trading (IIT) Technology

LOCATION: Hybrid onsite 4 days per week. Ideally, Boston is preferred but Needham can work with travel to Boston on an as need basis

We are seeking a Manager to join and manage our Trading Data Analytics team. In this position, you will not only dream-up solutions to today's buy-side trader challenges, but you will build them to see real-life results. Technology needs are advancing, and this level of complexity requires a highly sophisticated and well-managed Trading Data and Analytics platform. This is your chance to work on something incredible. This position involves hands-on solution architecture, implementation, and team management responsibilities. It will entail a high level of direct interaction with traders/trading quantitative analysts/data scientists as well as senior management in both setting strategy and devising innovative solutions for today's buy-side trading desk.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with other members of IT including developers, business analysts, and QA engineers to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions and will require an individual to take accountability and keep an open mindset while taking advantage of the learning opportunities. The individual must possess a strong work ethic, analytical skills, project management skills, be an effective communicator, and thrive at making a team of technology professionals successful while delivering best-in-class solutions for trading professionals.

• Must have management experience leading a team of 7+ resources (current makeup is 4FTE's and 6 consultants in an on shore offshore model)
• Must have familiarity with investment management concepts, ideally trading, TCA, and OMS. This person will be a partner with the trading research team.
• 10+ years' experience in technology delivery experience in trading or portfolio management. Strong knowledge of order management systems (OMS), Trade Cost Analysis (TCA) practices, and Trading Analytics across all Asset Classes
• Must have a technical background with Java or Python or Data Engineering.
• A passion for data and data-driven solutions
• CFA or progression towards a CFA is a nice to have

Estimated Min Rate: $126000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $180000.00
