Project Manager - Life Sciences/MedTech/Pharma
6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Remote (with ad-hoc travel)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a complex IT separation and disentanglement programme within the MedTech/Life Sciences sector across EMEA. This is a 6-month contract, inside IR35, operating primarily remotely with occasional travel as required.
This role requires strong delivery experience in life sciences, MedTech, or pharmaceutical environments, ideally within large, international, matrixed organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the assessment, planning, testing, implementation and hyper-care phases of IT activities related to the separation and disentanglement of commercial applications across MedTech EMEA.
- Coordinate and manage activities including (but not limited to):
- Non-regression testing
- Legal entity separation impacts
- Archiving and data extraction
- Logical data and access separation to support TSA execution
- Contract and licensing impacts for software and hardware
- Application interfaces and dependencies
- Work closely with application owners, Business Technology Leads, IT Product Lines and Business IT teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Partner with PMO and programme stakeholders to track progress, identify interdependencies, manage risks and issues, and drive mitigations and escalations.
- Monitor delivery against milestones and KPIs, providing clear and timely project reporting.
- Communicate effectively with global and regional IT teams, ensuring consistent coordination across geographies.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Master's Degree or advanced qualification in Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
- Strong experience within Life Sciences, MedTech or Pharmaceutical environments is essential.
- Minimum 5 years' programme and project management experience in complex, international, matrixed organisations.
- Solid working knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall); certification is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams).
- Working knowledge of data visualisation tools (eg Power BI) is desirable.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, separation or carve-out programmes is highly advantageous.
