Power Platform Developer, D365

The role

Power Platform Developer is sought by leading financial institution. Reporting to the Platform Lead, you'll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting the organisation's Power Platform and Dynamics 365 estate. You'll balance technical excellence with real-world business needs, helping to drive automation, efficiency, and scalable digital solutions across the wealth management business.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas) and Power Automate
• Enhancing and supporting existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
• Contributing to solution design and technical architecture, ensuring alignment with security, integration, and governance standards
• Acting as a technical SME within the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 change portfolio
• Producing clear, robust documentation and ensuring support processes are in place
• Collaborating closely with business applications, IT teams, and stakeholders across the wider organisation
• Sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across a geographically distributed team

Experience & skills

• Proven experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365
• Strong configuration and customisation skills across Power Platform components
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
• Experience with data integration and migration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Comfortable working in a complex, regulated, or enterprise environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and delivery-focused
• Strong communicator, able to tailor messaging to different audiences
• Commercially aware, with an interest in using technology as a business differentiator
