Java Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: Belfast Country: UK Rate: £550 - £650 per day + expenses
 

JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - DV CLEARANCE

BRAND NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY FOR A DV CLEARED JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE COST TESTING AND DEBUGGING

  • Location: Belfast
  • Duration: 6-months
  • The first 12 weeks will be on-site in Belfast with the remaining 3-months remote
  • Inside IR35
  • Up to £650pd plus expenses (expenses reviewed on a case-by-case basis)

WHO WE ARE?

Searchability NS&D is working with a UK leading National Security & Defence SME to onboard a DV Cleared Java Software Engineer to join a project on a 6-month basis to support the deployment of their end client's solution, including the testing.

The work will require the skills and knowledge summarised below and will require the hands-on deployment and test of the system both on the end client's site and the SMEs engineering environment.

WHAT WILL THE JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER BE DOING?

  • Hands-on deployment of software packages.
  • Hands-on configuration of software.
  • Hands-on debug and problem resolution.
  • Documentation update to reflect as-is build status.
  • Active knowledge acquisition of the operation and understanding of the system from the existing specialist.
  • User instruction and guidance.

WE NEED THE JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO HAVE .
