Contract Length: 6 Month rolling
Pay: £500-£550 pd
Summary:
The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in analysing, designing, implementing, and supporting applications that streamline core business functions and processes. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand their needs and translate them into effective technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all business functions to align technology solutions with strategic objectives.
- Gather requirements from business units and translate them into actionable project deliverables for the development team.
- Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to inform decision-making on system implementation.
- Leverage a deep understanding of business functions to resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide support for one or more complex business processes.
- Contribute to multiple projects as a project team member.
- Act as a liaison between the business community and the IT organisation to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven ability to design and deliver business solutions that enhance competitive advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.
- Demonstrated project management skills to effectively manage diverse projects, often simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot technical problems/processes and understand complex details.
- Proven ability to enhance operating efficiency and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of technical understanding.
- Ability to analyse complex situations and problems, conduct thorough research using various sources of information, and develop innovative solutions.
- Extensive experience working on transformation projects in a complex IT service management (ITSM) environment.
- Strong ability to think creatively, connect disparate information in a large and complex environment, and design and build requirements based on a comprehensive understanding of diverse business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in the Telco sector.
