Test Engineer \ DevOps

The person would need to assure that the test environments are up and running on our end and coordinate with surrounding systems when they are not up to bring them up, investigate errors appearing during the testing phases and either fix them himself or assure they are taken care of (triage), be able to run tests himself with the relevant systems in our space (listed securities trading), ideally also have system/software engineering and/or test engineering skills to help further improve/automate the whole devops situation in the test environments.

Here a short list of skills/knowledge/items expected:

- Linux administration

- Basic DB/SQL knowledge (Oracle)

- Analytical thinking

- Good understanding of sync/async communication between systems (SOAP, REST, MQ, Kafka, etc.)

- Proficiency with environment monitoring/devops tools, e. g. Appdynamics, Genios, Splunk, Consul, etc.

- Knowledge of dev/build tools, e. g. Maven, Git, Jenkins, etc.

- Basic knowledge on cryptography: certificate management, PKI

- Basic knowledge of IAAS solutions: Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.

- Knowledge of testing/test automation tools, e. g. UFT, ALM, Octane

- Willingness to do support, defect tracking, coordination and administrative work (JIRA) on a daily basis
