Senior Test Engineer (Automation), City Centre Edinburgh, 40K

Please note, this position is office-based due to the nature of the software and hardware being tested. ie 5 days a week.

It is 50:50 Automation Testing.

In this role you will join a growing QA Team responsible for the ongoing quality of global, best-in-class systems.

As a key member of QA, You'll collaborate with the RD SCRUM teams to identify risks, develop and execute test plans, and develop automated regression tests.

Job Responsibilities:

Risk assess product features, prioritising testing appropriately.

Develop and execute test plans.

Test the web application, both manually and technically.

Develop and maintain test automation suites.

Code reviews; and provide feedback to less experienced members of the team.

Contribute to technical direction of team.

Test functionality and integration of in-development cameras.

Assemble hardware setups.

Write readable Bug Reports.

Contribute to the Test team's continual improvement culture.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing software tools for web applications hosted in the cloud; and an affinity or experience with hardware/Embedded systems, IOT, streaming or networked devices.

Required Skills:

Experience as Software Test Engineer or developer

Experience developing in Java, Python or C#.

Playwright or Selenium.

Performance test experience.

Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
